Agincourt Reef-Port Douglas

Port Douglas
We just got back from the
Quicksilver platform out on Agincourt Reef. What an experience.
I (Connie) snorkeled for an hour. My jaws were sore from biting down on
the snorkel mouthpiece. I have got
to learn to relax. They were
feeding the fish right where we put our fins on to slip into the water. I had little striped fish flitting
around my ankles as I got ready to go in.
Cool.
I also got to go on the
semi-submersible submarine. I saw
a lot of stuff on that as well. I saw a lot of staghorn coral, boulder coral,
brain coral...etc. I also saw a
sea turtle. Woot!
Rob got in two dives. The boat had to wait for the divers to
get back from the second one before they could get back to Port Douglas. Yes,
Rob was the last one on board. But the photos he brought back were worth
it.
