Pre-trip Planning

Well, 22 days until our ship leaves Sydney Australia bound for parts north and a total eclipse of the sun. We have most everything planned out, but of course we left room to be spontaneous.
Our flights start in Madison Nov. 3, go to Minneapolis, Los Angeles, and finally Sydney. The ship leaves from there on November 6. We expect to be a little disoriented at first.  Losing a day to the international date line is always weird. When we post to this blog, we will try to list Sydney time and home time, but confusion will probably win out. If you read our blog, just come along for the ride and don't worry about dates. We probably won't.  :D
